When requesting additional IP addresses on Dedirock, you’ll need to provide justification to ensure compliance with industry policies and efficient IP usage. This process helps us demonstrate to regional registries such as ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers) or RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) that all IP address space is being allocated responsibly.
Overview
Every dedicated server comes with an initial /29 allocation (5 usable IPs), and each VPS or Cloud service includes a /32 allocation (1 usable IP). If you need more than this, you must complete an IP Justification Form.
Justification Policy
Dedirock can only allocate additional IP addresses when name-based hosting is not possible due to valid technical reasons (for example, SSL requirements). All requests must follow Dedirock’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Terms of Service (TOS).
To qualify for additional IPs, you must provide:

The total number of additional IPs requested

Proof of 80% utilization of your current allocation (if you already have IPs assigned)

Number of IPs actively used by domains

Number of IPs not currently in use

A list of all assigned IPs, how each one is used, and the domain it belongs to

Requests are carefully reviewed before approval. Larger requests (such as more than a /27 block, or 32 IPs) may take up to 24 hours to process.

Important: Requests like “I want my sites on different IPs” or “I have multiple customers who want their own IP” are not acceptable justifications. You must provide specific, valid technical reasons.
